I was going to post this a while back but due to internet problems it got held up but finally here it is...
Timeless Heart by my mate and awesome writer Karyn Gerrard.
Jerrod Ross a wealthy gentlemen from 1821 is caught in a violent storm and thrown into the 21st century where he meets Sandra Cranston. Not only does Jerrod have to deal with the changes in the future and the desire to return home but the sexual tension between him and Sandra is enough to blow the house's of parliament.....
I will be the first to admit I haven't read a romance since I was fifteen but I loved it, it has everything going for it, romance, humour and spice, hell it had more spice than my kitchen cupboard but I guarantee you will read it again and again. The characters are fantastic making you feel you know them and lets be honest here girls Jerrod is what I call a man, oh my god is he a man!
As a book plug goes this is not the best, I am not a romantic person (Remembers when hubby proposed on one knee and got a thump and told not to be so bloody stupid) but from chapter one I was hooked and have been gushing about it since. This is Karyn's first publishing and I bet not the last, read it you want be disappointed.
One more thing, Karyn the pic I got through Google search , loads of images came up, a sign your famous, congratulations and well done.

The next chapter of The Circle is now up HERE
Awww. Bless you mate for the plug, I really do appreciate it. And When I hear someone who is not big on romance loved this, well...you made my bloody day.
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL about your response to hubby's proposal!
*snort* more spice than your kitchen cupboard, love that! Thanks for your friendship and support, it means a lot! ♥
No problem, I loved it so much I had to do some shouting about it.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't joking about Hubby, I've never been the romantic type, hate flowers and such which is probably the reason I've always have trouble writing romantic scenes.
Reading your book I thought 'OH my God, I wish' you know the white horse, knight, being whisked off your feet all that stuff and Jerrod just made my toes curl and give me an urge for a cold shower.
