A PIRATES HEART conclusion

It was early morning before Harmoni returned having spent the night at Peters place. Peter suggested the she move in with him it would be better than staying their and she wouldn't need to rush finding a new place. Looking up at his Derrins apartment she shivered, she couldn't live like this her nerves were in tatters, Derrin would be pleased she was leaving after all he didn't seem to like her much, the kiss? what was that about?

Harmoni worked quietly all morning with Derrin staying out of her way, it was after lunch when she told him that she was moving out. "Look I'm sorry about yesterday it won't happen again, I would prefer you stayed here, it would be easier as the book is nearly finished. Panic, he near lost it when she told him, bad enough she stayed at his place all night but to have her move in with him, what the hell was the mater with him? why should he care. "I'll think about it" Harmoni replied heading back to her room.

After dinner Harmoni sat watching TV while Derrin worked in his room. "I'm calling it a night" Derrin announced as he plonked himself down beside her. Harmoni couldn't breath, he was so close she could smell the soap he used, his aftershave, she wanted to reach out and touch him, oh god! "There's a party being held to celebrate the release of the book and I would like you to come" "There's no need for me to go, thank you but no" her polite refusal falling on deaf ears. "Good food and dancing the orchestra is very good, it's an important shin dig," Derrin insisted. "I can't dance!" she blurted, anything to get out if it. "But you dance with that Peter fellow?"
"That's different, your talking about classic dancing, I can't do that"

"In that case!" jumping up he pulled Harmoni to her feet. "What are you doing?"
"Teaching you to dance, come on I won't bite, now hold me here" putting her hand on his shoulder. Holding her left hand and sliding his other round her waist. "Now follow me"

It was heard for her to pay attention, oblivious to anything but his touch, slowly she began to relax listening to the music. "That's it, you've got it"
Harmoni let him lead, the music washed over her, she was falling for him, had fallen for him. Soon they were whirling round the room. Derrin started to muck about do silly things making her laugh. He hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time it was good, Derrin found he was enjoying himself Harmoni smile her laugh was addictive.

Spinning her round he bent her over moving in close, Harmoni giggled at the exagerated move. Looking into her eyes he smiled, the kiss was soft, gentle almost tender, he backed off. "That's the lesson over" he barked as he stormed to his room slamming the door. "Harmoni looked at the closed door touching her lips, confused.

Lying on his bed he tried to work out was happening to him, Caron he loved her, hadn't he, they had ended up together and it was expected of them to marry. Pulling back the sheets he thought about that night, it had hurt but what his heart or his ego. "Women! better off without them" he muttered into the dark. So why did Harmoni haunt his dreams.

Finally the book was finished.
Putting the finishing touches to her makeup, she did intend to move out today but the party would probably run late so she would leave in the morning.
Quietly she walked into the living room. Derrin turned his stomach flipped, he stood staring her gold dress shimmered in the light bathing her in a warm glow, low cut revealing cleavage the material then skimmed her waist before falling loosely to the floor, he was tempted so tempted to remove her dress and taste the skin underneath. Harmoni hadn't noticed his staring, to busy trying to fight her own feelings in his black suit he was a striking figure, imposing, her stomach in knots looking at him she knew she was in love...she loved Derrin. Derrin coughed, "Lets go" taking her arm.

The evening went well and Harmoni found herself enjoying it. "Hope you don't mind?" Jeffery asked Derrin taking her by the hand and pulling her to the dance floor. Jeffery was a lovely man who kept her in stitches with his jokes. "Excuse me" Derrin cut in leading her away. "Trying to keep her to your self" Jeffery laughed. Derrin scowled at him, Harmoni found she was suddenly tongue tied his closeness bringing the colour to her face. "I want to thank you"
"What for?"
"For all your help with the book of course"
"It was no problem Mr Talbot, that's what you hired me for"
"Even so you worked very heard, it would never been finished on time if it wasn't for you....so what now?"
"I guess I'll be looking for a new job, I move into Peters tomorrow" she looked at him a hole was opening in her heart and tomorrow when she left it would break.

Derrin was quiet for the rest of the night she was glad when it was time to go home. Derrin unlocked the door flicking on the lights, "I've got a bottle of champagne in the fridge I'll get the glasses"
"Thank you but no"
"Come on just one" he insisted handing her a glass.
"Just one" she smiled weakly.
"To your new home" lifting his glass to hers. Harmoni didn't reply it hurt to much. Drinking quickly she put the glass down, "Well I think I'll go to bed, goodnight Mr Talbot"
"Goodnight Harmoni"

She was half way to her room when he appeared blocking her way, he didn't speak, reaching up he gently caressed her cheek. "Is there something you want Mr Talbot" she whispered his touch sending jolts through her body.
"Yes, YOU!"
"I really should get to my bed I have a lot to do tomorrow" she lied her legs felt like jelly she tried to turn away afraid she would give herself away....that she wanted him too. Derrin didn't let her go, "Beautiful" his voice hoarse. Reaching behind her he removed the clip in her hair letting it fall.

Pulling her close he ran his fingers through her hair gently pulling her head up, he kissed her tentatively waiting for a response. Harmoni let out a moan she kissed back. Wrapping his arms round her his kiss deepened pulling her closer, she could feel his passion, his hardness. "Stay with me tonight" he whispered in her ear. Harmoni nodded. Derrin took her hands and lead her to the bedroom.

Harmoni removed his tie and started on his shirt, touching his bare flesh flaming her more. Running his hands down her shoulder he cupped her breast making her moan pulling of his shirt she reached for his belt. Her dress gone he placed tiny kisses over body paying particular attention to each breast his hand stroking the inside of her thigh, he looked at her suddenly unsure... She opened her eyes and smiled at him, taking her sent a shiver through her body her arms wrapped round his neck pulling him closer, her body was on fire igniting his further. He was gentle and skilled, their climax intense.

Waking she looked out the window, heavy dark clouds hung low in the sky in the distance a clap of thunder. Dressing quickly she opened the door, Derrin sat on the sofa his expression like granite. "Der...Mr Talbot"
"I take it you are all packed ready to go" he asked.
"I...I....yes"
"It's time you left"
"Last night?"

"What about last night?" he demanded, "Last night was a one off, good night thank you now get the hell out" Harmoni was rooted to the floor, shocked, "I thought...?"
"You thought what? their was nothing in it, a little light relief, thanks for the memories." She'd been used. Harmoni felt dirty.

Without another word, Harmoni fetched her suitcase, "In that case I better go"
"Great idea"
"Turning she faced him angrily, "Last night was a mistake, I wish I had never met you, you are the most horrid man I have ever had the misfortune to meet"
"Just get out, I never won't to see you again" Derrin roared.
"Don't worry you won't" she told him calmly going to the door, only when it closed behind her did she let the tears fall.

Several months past and Derrin hadn't heard from Harmoni, the book was a best seller and demand was great the royalties he got was amazing. Feeling guilty he sent her a cheque on top of her wages a sort of thank you, it was sent back. Derrin spent his days drinking scotch and watching TV, hardly sleeping and when he did dreamt of her. He thought of the conversation he had with Jeffery that morning, "You're bloody miserable, go find her" Derrin had refused he didn't need her. "Don't you? seems to me you love her" He hotly denied it. "You are a mate Derrin as well as the best writer I've had the pleasure to publish but you are one stubborn bastard"

He had a lot of trouble convincing Peter to give him her address, all Peter wanted to do was kill him but he finally got it. This can't be right, finding himself in a squalid caravan park.

Checking the address he scanned the caravans, number two, he knocked on the door. "Just a minute" Harmoni's voice rang out. The lock turned a bolt slide.... Opening the door Harmoni gasped, "Derrin!" Derrin stared at her speechless, the bump a situation he hadn't expected. "What do you want?"
"Can I come in?" Reluctantly she stepped back.

He looked round, the place hadn't seen a paint brush in years, damp walls and moth eaten furniture the place was a dump. "Would you like something to drink, coffee perhaps I'm sorry I have nothing stronger"
"Coffee will be fine", why hadn't she told him? got in touch? he would have helped, "Is it mine?"  as soon as he asked he regretted it. "What a horrible thing to say" Harmoni screamed, "What the hell do you think am?"

"I'm sorry....."
"GET OUT!"
"No wait look I'm sorry I didn't mean....look I can help, find you somewhere better to live pay the hospital bills..." Harmoni didn't want to listen anymore, she didn't want that life..it had to be all or nothing. "Just go Derrin....please!"
"The child is mine I have the right to see it"
"I won't object if you want contact, I'll get a solicitor to drew up some sort of agreement"
"Agreement, solicitors, what are you talking about? move in with me I'll look after you and the child, I don't want to be a weekend father I want to see it's first step hear the first word"
"And I would be the dutiful mother and you the father while we both live separate lives" the thought of seeing him with another woman broke her heart, "No I don't think so...goodbye Mr Talbot" Harmoni turned away refusing to discuss it any more, choking back the tears she waited to hear the door close behind him. Defeated Derrin went to the door, his hand on the handle he paused, he couldn't leave not like this.

"Harmoni! don't shut me out I.....I love you" turning her round he wiped the tears from her face. "Your just saying that"
"NO!, no I'm not" suddenly it made sense, his feelings towards her, he felt it the minute they met but he was to scared to get hurt again."The night of the accident Caron my fiance told me the wedding was off she had met someone else, they had been seeing each other for months, I know now that I never loved her, our families expected us to marry. Why hadn't he noticed , her coolness towards him the excuses for being late, "She sat there......laughing at me....I felt such a fool"

"Can I feel?" he asked nervously looking at her stomach. Harmoni nodded trying to take in what he had just told her. "You affected me, I tried to fight it but you made me feel things I had never felt before with any woman, I didn't want to admit it was love putting it down to lust, I am sorry I see now what an idiot I've been"
"You love me?" unsure she needed to hear those words again.

"With all my heart..say you'll marry me, you don't love me that's fine maybe in time you would...."
"I do" Harmoni put her arms round his neck, "I mean I love you have done from the moment you kissed me, but you kept blowing hot and cold, I didn't know where I was"
"What a pair of idiots" he laughed taking her in his arms.
"It's a single but I think we could manage" looking at the bed and winking "I think we could" she murmured softly as his lips met hers."

  1. Lovely romantic ending Iron Mum, Derrin was certainly carrying a lot of baggage from his previous relationship, and from the accident, how wonderful he moved past it.
    Nicely done!!

I'm married, three kids and two grandkids, I'm also mad as a hatter.

Hello

Here you will find my stories made with the Sims 2, most of them will be about Vampires as I am completely nuts on them but anything I can think of will proberly end up here, I fell for the game when my eldest daughter came home with Sims 1.
As well as my stories I love horror and scifi movies.
I'm also a metel head and enjoy most heavy metel from Iron Maiden, Slipknot to Epica and Nightwish, oh! I suppose I should mention I'm married with three kids.
Warning! my stories will contain bad language, sex and violence, hell! you can't have a good story without them.

Enjoy.
