The silly season is upon us once again.
We will spend the holidays eating and drinking to much then in the new year panic when we can no longer fit into our favorite jeans.
But Christmas comes but once a year and it is a special year for me as my two grandchildren are now at the age to understand, kind of.
The eldest at three is excited at the promise of lots of new toys, and the little one at nineteen months is peeking out the window then turning to us and shouting SANTA!
This will be extra special as last year most of the family were ill including myself.
So from me and the Aldridge family (they are in my next story) we wish everyone a very merry Christmas and all the best for Hogmanay (New year)
As my Gaelic speaking husband says SlĂ inte mhath. [slawn-je vah] which means cheers.
Now to find the weighing scales and throw them out.
Hi Iron Mum!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, your picture is wonderful, great poses, and can I say, that hunk leaning against the wall is...wow. Look forward to this!
Happy Christmas to you and yours! And your husband can speak Gaelic? *sigh*
Cheers mate~
Glad you like the pic, the story is about the two at the front but I like him so much I plan a story on him.
ReplyDeleteYou would think the husband speaking Gaelic is cool but when he speaks it to me I get the feeling it's insults lol.
He taught me a few words but I gave up, it's not an easy language to learn plus have you ever heard a cockney speak Gaelic...not pretty lol.
